Cross Reporting Service, Inc., is a full-service court reporting firm that has been serving the states of Missouri and Kansas since 1986.

The company was originally formed by Anton Obermaier in 1986 and has had tremendous growth since then.

The current president is James A. Leacock, a Registered Merit Reporter and a Certified Shorthand Reporter in Kansas, who has over 35 years of experience in court reporting in the Kansas City area.

Mr. Leacock attended court reporting school at Northern Technical School of Business in Minneapolis, Minnesota, having graduated in the fall of 1978 and began work immediately after that in Kansas City, Missouri.

We are conveniently located in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, a short 15-minute drive east from Kansas City, Missouri. Even though we are located in Kansas City, Missouri, we travel to a number of cities in the Kansas and Missouri area. Services include videotape and zoom depositions, daily copy, and expedited transcripts for all areas of litigation, with particular expertise in medical and technical depositions, notice and multi-party litigation. Our litigation support capabilities include PDF, document imaging, condensed transcripts with keyword indexing.
